If you are reading this thinking, “wait a minute, Tasha is not a fashion blogger! What is she doing?” I totally get it. I mean seriously, I spend half of my life in paint-spattered clothes or my PJs. But, two of my resolutions for 2018 are to: 1) fix my hair more often and 2) stop wearing my PJs so much during the workday. I’ve been doing better with my hair (though I still have some days where I throw it up in a very unstylish ponytail), but the only way I’m going to get dressed in “real” clothes every day is to have super cute, colorful options to put on that are also SUPER comfortable. Like, almost as comfy as my PJs 🙂
Since I am no fashionista myself, I had my best friend from college, who is a FASHION GODDESS, help me pick out some Spring pieces. It was actually a really funny exercise for both of us because Margaux wears only neutrals (black, white, gray) and I pretty much want to DOUSE myself in all the colors. But we set up a Pinterest board where we could both pin our ideas and what we wound up with are fun and stylish Spring wardrobe options. The only problem is that now I’ve been spending money on new clothes…
Enough chatter. Check out our picks for must-have Spring clothes, shoes and accessories! There are options for every budget.

Spring Clothes Every Woman Should Have
Must-have Spring basics
I’ve come to appreciate how some of my favorite Spring clothes are my favorite–simple t-shirts that I can throw on with anything. But what took me years to learn is that a basic t-shirt can look amazing by adding some colorful accessories. A white t-shirt, jeans and a colorful necklace and earrings?! BOOM. Easy and cute.
Must-have Spring jackets
I couldn’t live without my utility jacket and denim jacket. That’s all I’ve got to say about that.
Must-have Spring tops
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that I like color and pattern in my wardrobe. And I love the versatility of button downs, with a big footnote. They have to be made of linen, denim or gauzy cotton. No stiff cotton shirts for this girl. I did that for too many years as a lawyer.
Must-have Spring jeans
The perfect pair of jeans is, in my opinion, the most important thing to have in your wardrobe for Spring. I’ve heard so many amazing things about those Made Well jeans that I’m finally going to treat myself to them. I’ll let you know what I think 😉
Must-have Spring dresses
When I’m not in jeans, you are most likely to find me in a very comfy dress for Spring. Skirts and tops get too fussy and confusing for me (for some reason, I find it MUCH harder to pair a top with a skirt than with jeans–it’s too easy to start looking like a potato). I’ve had my eye on two of these dresses for a while.
Must-have Spring jewelry
As I mentioned above, colorful jewelry goes a long way in making you look super pulled together when all you have done is pull on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I call that winning at life.
Must-have Spring accessories
What would Spring be without a cute bag and sunglasses?! That navy and white bag needs to get in my hand ASAP.
Must-have Spring shoes
I have to admit, I am NOT a shoes girl. I have never had a closet full of shoes and when the weather is warm, I am most likely to be found in my Birkenstocks. BUT, I do try to put on cute shoes if Joe and I are out with friends, and these totally fit the bill.
